When I attended art school in Ottawa, I enjoyed my drawing, painting, printmaking and painting classes very much. The skills came in handy when I was working as a prop builder and a production designer.
Throughout the years I’ve tried to return to my sketchbook.I had a wonderful trip to Mexico where I was part of the plein air painting class for 10 days; it was inspiring to be surrounded by the beautiful buildings and architecture and I found that watercolour was an enjoyable medium. I have also dabbled in oil paints and I look forward to doing life drawing sessions in my studio this year.
